In the Judgement Factory, no one can see the ceiling that stretches far beyond the hotel, an impossible space. It's eternally black and holding up the Judgement Boys by their own hooks. Up there is where a fresh batch of pupils are 'waiting' to become genuine Judgement Boys. Their weights bear heavily on their movement, a sensation they aren't quite used to. They aren't allowed to move freely just yet, so they are just stuck in the dark waiting, wondering where and who they are.

Judgement Boy Gold rarely comes up there, believing they need time to make up their own minds on which path they'll take. He offers the newest an illusion of choice. To waste time figuring out their situation or to work hard on becoming a Judgement Boy.

The perks are being lowered out of the dark as you slowly come to terms with the reality you accept and train endlessly to make judgements.

Oh, but it gets better! Imagine finally getting out of this factory, being free to move along a rail, and make judgements on everyone! A Judgement Boy can dream.

Judgement Boys are by far the most handsomest anthropomorphic scales you'll ever meet, with a catchy tune they sing as they mosey along the dark halls of the Gregory Hotel on their rails.
But they got a duty to pass judgements on people who are indecisive. And often, you'll be left feeling hurt, believing in their truths. Because they've judged your very soul.

In the game, the leader of the Judgement Boys suggest you to stay in the hotel and become his pupil. This was inspired off of that.
